(giggle) Bible (snort) Study (chuckle laugh)

So... Bible Study. I have not laughed so hard in a reeeeally long time. Those giggles just stay in your belly and always come out when you're trying to be serious. Jeannie was starting to read the passage we were going to discuss, and I was poking Danielle with Jeannie's teddy bear (Big-Bummed-Barney) and she was getting annoyed so she pretended to throw her hot chocolate at me, so of course we started to giggle, and then Jeannie read the word circumsicion and she thought we were laughing about that, and then Danielle and I started laughing harder because we knew she thought we were laughing at her and Jeannie started laughing harder and everyone else was confused but were laughing too, and then when we calmed down a bit, Danielle started to explain, and she started laughing so Jeannie and I started laughing again... then we were determined to study so Jeannie had Anisa read the passage but we all started laughing again (partially my fault) and we just couldn't get a hold on ourselves. It really wasn't that funny but it's the giggles... there's not much you can do. Just thinking about how much we had laughed already made me giggle, and then I'd look at Danielle and she'd start to giggle, and then we'd both crack up... Anyways.... we did calm down, I made a few more bursts but it was ok. So I have to finish writing the conclusion to my english essay and then plug in my printer and print it and my psych paper off and then I can go to bed! TTFN

Fun fun weekend!

Hello! I had a great weekend! Right now I'm holed up in my room as Jeannie has her devo team over, but no matter! I'll just type away on my blog! So I went to the craft fair on friday on the way home but I didn't have enough time to buy anything, which really disappointed me. I watched the first half of Schindler's List with my dad, and then went to bed exhausted. THEN on saturday, my dad and I went to Hawksbury to Higginson's and I saw the totally adorable dog there. The last time I saw him he was a ball of fluff, but he's grown quite a bit in six months and isn't done growing! So afterwards we went BACK to the craft fair and I bought two ornaments, a gingerbread man and a snowman, for our mini tree at the apartment. After that we fattened ourselves up with KFC and went to the used bookstore, where I bought some archie comics and a Chicken Soup for the Soul book, College style. (I finished reading it already hehe) Then we went to Canadian Tire and I spent ten minutes in the Christmas Village aisle, ending up in a minituare shed, complete with miniture trees, for our coffee table, a reindeer ornament that I painted, and a miniture tree skirt for our mini tree! Yay! We put up the tree tonight, so I'll take a picture of it and put it on the blog soon. I want cookies... but I don't want to disturb them. :) Well, I've written quite a bit today, so I'll say TTFN now.

Snow Fever

It's happened. I've been struck with snow silliness! Everyone's been saying, "Look, it's snowing! Yay!" And I would smile and nod. But suddenly while I was waiting for the bus... I realized how exciting the snow is! When I got home, after tidying the living room a bit, I made paper snowflakes like you do in elementary school and I stuck them on various objects around the apartment. I can't wait 'till Christmas! My mom and I are going to a craft fair tomorrow, so I'm hoping to get lots of Christmas shopping done. I only realized today that we're not going to have any fun Christmas decorations around the apartment unless I get some. I feel so special! I get to buy decorations! Yay! I'm so excited. Must be the Christmas music. :) Well, I'm off, so TTFN

A long day of easy

Hi there! So today was nice, very easy all around. Cal was review, then I went to Lesley's apartment and ate her cookies while practicing my Bible verses, then psych was long and boring, then instead of doing cal homework during my next break, I sat and ate lunch with friends, and then English was very easy. So there you go! Then after school I went to Rachael's and had a pillow fight with Ben, ate a yummy supper and POTATOES!!! then looked at Frontier Lodge photos with Rachael while she gave me a back massage, and then Jeannie came and we came home and I ate ice cream! And guess what? Today is officaly be-mean-to-Emma-day. So Kim denied me cake. But it's all good, because every other day id be-mean-to-Rachael day, so I plan to take out my frustrations from today tomorrow on Rachael. Poor her. Oh well. Gotta go, TTFN

Slipper Sadness

Oh, what can you do when your slipper is torn? You see, on the bottom of my slippers theres a hard foam base which had been half ripped-off for months now, but last night while a kind person was doing our dishes again, I stepped kind-of funny, and now... that slipper has no foam base! What am I going to do? My poor, cold little toesies! I am without slippers! Sigh... Well, at least I can remind myself that I got 90% on my western civ test, one which nobody did very well. High fives all 'round! Well, I'm off to fill my hot chocolate craving so, as always, TTFN

Shopping!!!

So guess where I was today? (you must not be looking very hard if you can't answer this question) I was shopping! Oh yes, and the many many purchases I made. Crossants, a salad, a pack of gum (and I do believe I'll have a piece of that right now), an english caramel cappuccino, and to top it all off, a birthday present for my adopted mommy! How exciting! Oh, the tears of sadness and laughter that were shed on this trip. It's too bad you all couldn't have been there with me. I feel for you, my friends, I feel for you. You know what? I really think I've been watching too much Gilmore Girls. TTFN

Freedom

Aaaah! It's such a nice feeling to have the weight of an essay lifted off your chest, isn't it? I love the feeling of knowing you did your very best and now all you have to do is find a stapler that has staples in it, hand the now-stapled essay in, and find how how good your very best actually is. :) Now it's 10:30pm and as I've just recently eaten a bowl of sugar-blasted Haagan-Dazs ice cream, I'm ready to go for a run around the building! Or maybe run around it "50 million" times!!! (Honours Social Science inside joke ;P ) Well, I really ought to go to bed now, big Tim Hortons' gift certificate shopping trip tomorrow, gotta be rested up for that! TTFN

Blog #1: I'm cool too!

Wow! Isn't this exciting? My first blog! Hi, I'm Emma, and I have much better writing than my brother Michael. So, what's up with facebook anyways? Everybody has it and now they're addicted. So I'll be cool and not get facebook, like my friend Rachael. Boy is it windy and cold outside! I'm so excited to get a new winter coat! And I'm hoping my parents bring me my awesome chair to use at my desk in the city. Well, that was random! Maybe I'll try and put some pictures next time! TTFN
